Walking Billboards

Yesterday, as I was doing my thing reaching out to people I haven’t talked to in a while, I got into a very important discussion.

What did this discussion involve:Walking Billboard

Everything we do, everything we wear, everything we say leads us to become walking billboards for those around us. We become dynamic media advertisements for our families, for our friends, for our neighbors, for people we haven’t even met yet.

It is easy to forget that the clothes you wear, the food you eat, the restaraunts you visit all become part of who you are.

Are you McDonalds? No. But when you come out of there smelling like french fries, you become a dynamic message that tempts those around you to find the nearest sign of golden arches and chow down.

But you can also be a billboard for change:

Every day you work out, every selfie you post, every time you reach out to a friend and you invite them to change, you are changing your message. Every inch you lose, every pound you say goodbye to, you are adding to that message of change, you are completely wiping that billboard off and pasting up Beachbody, pasting up Courage, pasting up Shakeology. You are taking your personal brand to a new level, and you are making people re-imagine themselves through you.Personal-Branding-Brand

So keep asking yourself: Is this the message I want to display?

If you aren’t pasting up the message on your personal billboard that says THIS IS WHO I AM AND WHAT I SUPPORT, then you need to stop. You need to completely change your personal brand. And all that takes is to recognize that you want to be different, that you want to eat different, that you want to think different. And then act on it.

Find yourself a coach who inspires you, join a challenge group, and hey, if you want to be a coach, if you want to help people change their lives and motivate yourself to continue to change yours, then reach out to someone and tell them. Let the world know that your billboard isn’t going to be displaying a Big Mac, it’s going to be displaying 10-20 more years of beautiful life. Your personal billboard is going to be displaying vitality, passion, and a hunger for what you believe in.
So what are you waiting for? Get out there and start creating your walking billboard for the world to see!
